Dumpster, Recycling, Brush and Mulch

Located on Route 614 (Spring Mills Road) Behind the Library and Municipal Garage

DUMPSTER

Dumpster Hours: Saturday 9:00am – 1:45pm
Limited to Holland Township Residents Only
NO COMMERCIAL, BUSINESS OR CONTRACTORS

Each July taxpayers receive two 3”x5” file cards (Dumpster Identification Cards) with their tax bill
Each ID Card is good for one trip to the dumpster and must be surrendered at the time of the visit.

Examples of acceptable items: Household appliances, furniture, lawnmowers, garden equipment, etc.
NO BUILDING MATERIALS or HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE allowed in Dumpster.

Additional Dumpster ID cards can be obtained at the Municipal Building at the following costs:
  • Carload $10.00
  • Pickup (1/2 ton) or van $50.00
  • Station Wagon $20.00
  • 4’ x 8’ max. Utility Trailer      $100.00

Additional charges for special items as follows:
Car & Truck tires – fee will be based on the size of the tire

Washers, driers, refrigerators or air conditions accepted.
Please note: Freon must be removed and a certification attached.

RECYCLING

Recycling hours: Wednesday 12:00 noon – 5:45pm & Saturday 9:00am – 1:45pm
Limited to Holland residents only
NO COMMERCIAL, BUSINESS OR CONTRACTORS

Each July taxpayers receive on file card (Recycling Permit) with their tax bill. This Recycling Permit must be shown before entering the recycling center. The taxpayer will retain this card which is good for one year.

  • Aluminum beverage cans
  • Used Motor Oil
  • Bottles & jars-white, amber or green
  • Car Batteries
  • Ring & Caps Removed
  • Copper
  • No water glasses accepted
  • Copper Wire
  • Newspapers, magazines and brown paper bags
  • Cardboard
  • Tied separately in bundles
  • Tin Cans

BRUSH AND MULCH

Hours: Wednesday 12:00 noon – 5:45 pm Saturday 9:00-1:45pm
Using the Recycling Permit, Residents can bring brush to the recycling center and pick-up mulch at no charge.
NO LANDSCAPING OR LAWN SERVICE VEHICLES PERMITED
