To All Holland Township Residents Connected to the Sewer System:
The 2010 rate will be $480.00, or $120.00 per quarter.
Holland Township had maintained an annual rate of $225.00 ($56.25 per quarter) per unit for well over 20 years, even though our costs to Milford had increased over these years. In 2007, we increased the annual rate to $320.00 ($80.00 per quarter) per unit to reflect the increases we incurred and bring the rate up to a realistic figure.
Since the 2007 rate increase, Milford has been directed by the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) that it must upgrade the sewer plant to meet specific DEP guidelines by June 2010. Holland Township will be responsible for 50% of this cost, which is estimated to be $5.5 million.

Due By:
- 3/1/10 January – March $120.00 per unit
- 6/1/10 April – June $120.00 per unit
- 9/1/10 July – September $120.00 per unit
- 12/1/10 October – December $120.00 per unit
After the 10th of the month Sewer is considered late and interest will be charged.
